In a New York Times article on yoga and aging, Dr. Loren Fishman, director of Manhattan Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and author of Yoga for Back Pain, stresses the benefits of private yoga sessions. Dr. Fishman claims that one-to-one sessions provide "the individual attention that yoga has traditionally offered."  

Amanda offers private sessions in the comfort of your home or our yoga space. Respecting your yogic path, she tailors a practice that meets you right where you are, in the present moment. Depending on your needs, sessions can focus on asanas (poses), pranayama (breath work), and/or meditation. Private group sessions are available too. Please inquire through email for more details.
